Let's Get Organized!
You will soon be overwhelmed with lots of emails so you'll need to get organized and set up folders in your email program. I have a number of gmail accounts one specifically for traffic exchanges and 2 or more for safelists. Where ever you have your email, you will need to program your email to send new emails to separate folders to keep from being overwhelmed.
If you do not already have Firefox for surfing traffic exchanges, you will need to download it or Google's Chrome. You do not want to use Internet Explorer, it is too slow. You'll also want to disable any "add-ons" under "Tools" in Firefox so you can surf faster, you really don't need any add-ons while surfing unless you want to take the time to watch a video, I don't. Then don't forget to enable any addons when you complete your surfing for the day.
Firefox allows you to group traffic exchanges in tabs so you can surf a number at the same time. You will also need broadband for surfing if you can afford it.
In order for you to surf faster you'll need Quick Tab Change, this will allow you to program your mouse so that you can surf only using your mouse. I use the wheel to change to the next tab. To download QTC for free click the banner below. If you want to use the wheel on your mouse to change tabs, you’ll need to upgrade. It was well worth it to me, until Turbo Tab Surf came along.
QTC was a wonderful program to have until I found Turbo Tab Surf! I can't say enough about it and don't know what I'd do without it now. It has cut my surfing time by at least half. You only have to click once, you click the icon and it automatically moves on to the next tab. WOW what a time saver. If possible take the OTO of $27 because it goes up to $77 inside and you won't be able to use the software after the 30 free trial is up. You'll find the benefit of time saved well worth the cost.
Now for surfing, I like FireFox or Google Chrome. However, there is a new browser on the market that you can use for free, then upgrade if you think you can use it for your surfing. At this time I do not use it, but have upgraded and am actively involved in upgrading the browser by participating at their forum and recommending traffic exchanges to be added. Most of the TEs I surf are not listed there at this time, but I'm hoping that it will be more user friendly in the near future so that we will find it a very useful surfing tool. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add a TE on the fly so we don’t have to go through the add process.
You'll also need to download a free version of RoboForm to save your passwords for you, that becomes an overwhelming task with time. You can upgrade there for less than $10 your first year. You'll be glad you did the next time your computer goes down on you as all your passwords are saved on their server for you.
Get your payment processor accounts setup and ready to go. I mostly use PayPal, but you will likely have to use Payza, EgoPay, or Solid Trust Pay at some point. There is also a site that exchanges funds between your accounts with the exception of PayPal, that site is xChanger.org.
Install your ads on all of the Traffic Exchanges and start surfing. Each time you click you create a credit which contributes towards your ad being seen by other surfers which is the object of the exercise.
The main purpose of your surfing is to get referrals to your program. Be patient, it will not happen overnight. I currently get 4 referrals each week. The more promoting you do the more referrals you'll receive. This should pickup somewhat between September and December, when school and shopping is in full swing.
This is why it is so important that all the links on YOUR website contains YOUR referral URLs. Most other services arrange it so that they collect a list of your referrals. In time these referrals are potential income sources for you especially if they upgrade or purchase a feature on one of the sites, you will receive commission.
All of the Traffic Exchanges run referral contests so there are potential cash prizes to be won there too. Last but not least, you will be building your own mailing list on Listwire. You will be surprised how quickly this happens. Even people who do not reproduce your Website remain on your autoresponder so you are building a mailing list to which you can send other programs that you want to promote. But, be careful, you do not want to get a reputation for spamming and get banned from Listwire.
So your first goal is to accumulate cash in your PayPal or Payza account. All of the TE's I have listed run surf promos on a regular basis. So check your e-mails daily and make sure you surf those Exchanges that are running promos for cash that day. You will not win a prize every time, but believe me, it will not take long for you to accumulate some cash!
Watch out for special conditions such as insisting that you display 5 adverts to qualify for prizes. In this case just install the same advert 5 times if possible. My list of TEs has changed since I first created this site and my criteria for surfing has as well now I only surf cash promos, I'll look for $5 promos first, but all cash prizes add up.
My strategy has been to read all daily emails from each TE and surf where I can get the most cash with the least pages surfed.
I have been able to accumulate enough seed money in my PayPal account to take lifetime upgrades in the Traffic Exchanges listed on that page, plus 2 others where the owner and I had differences, and lifetime upgrades at all the Mailers listed on that page. I managed all this in the last 9 months surfing and investing then purchasing upgrades.
I must say that I find Mailer upgrades the most useful so you don’t have to spend all your online time clicking for credits to send out emails. The upgrades at the TEs will also help to keep your ads in rotation.
Please ask me for my referral URL spreadsheet it keeps growing daily, so far I am nearing 300 Traffic Exchanges and well over 220 Mailers listed along with a few Miscellaneous URLs you will find useful.
Something that will be a huge time saver for you is a URL and Banner Rotator. You add your links and banners to the rotator (one for your links and one for your banners) this way you install the rotator link in the traffic exchange or wherever you advertise. When you need to change a link then all you have to do is change it in the rotator and it is automatically changed in your traffic exchange ads. You'll only need to change the rotator links in traffic exchanges if you add or delete one of your rotator links. This saves you so much time it's incredible.
I found this site recently and found that you can add both your URLs and your Banners to their rotators. The cost is $9.99 a month and you will have residual income of $5 for every Pro member you bring in. For some unexplainable reason I am unable to get this Rainy Dayz Rotator Banner to display properly.
Rainy Dayz also has an autoresponder available, but I haven't found any directions for use. When I find the time I'll poke around and see if it is easily usable to all.

This is a new tracking rotator where you earn cash while tracking. I really like the tracking stats you receive with this service. Level 1 is $7 but I needed to add more links than Level 1 included so I upgraded to the next level OTO $27 Lifetime. Check it out CTB has the best stats I've seen for awhile.
This is another Steve Ayling site. You will be able to brand yourself and promote a site of your choice while bringing in commissions. Cash Track Bar and Brand A Splash are both $7 sites, but to be able to utilize all that the sites offer you'll need to upgrade to the additional $27 level.
